Chocolate Crinkle Cookies

Ever wonder what if a chocolate molten lava cake and a brownie had a baby? It would turn out something like this.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup unsweetend cocoa powder

  • 2 cups white sugar

  • 1/2 vegetable oil

  • 4 eggs

  • 2 tsp vanilla extract

  • 2 cups all purpose flour

  • 2 tsp baking powder

  • 1/2 tsp salt

  • 1/2 cup confectioners sugar


Directions

  1. In a medium bowl, mix together cocoa powder, white sugar and veg oil. Beat in eggs one at a time, then stir in vanilla. Combine flour, baking powder and salt then stir into the cocoa mix. Cover dough and chill for 4 hours.

  2. Preheat oven to 350*F. Line cookie sheet with parchment paper. Roll into 1” balls or use a small cookie scoop. Coat eat ball in confectioners’ sugar before placing on cookie sheet.

  3. Bake for 10-12min. Let stand on sheet for a minute before transferring to rack to cool.

  4. If you’re short on time, you can skip chilling and bake them for about 17min until crinkle looking. Rest on the baking sheet for a few minutes before removing. I like chilling them.
